Late Night at Galatic: Gobi Da Nobi Season 2, Meet Luna Rey, and a Clean Desk

Hey everybody, it's Gabe from Galatic.ai. Most of the work here happens late at night, and last night I had my phone running while I got going. The plan: clean up my desk, then get a few things dialed in for Gobi Da Nobi Season 2 and for our new artist, Luna Rey.
I'll start with the desk.
First, the desk
It gets so dirty so fast. I don't even know how. It's like dust is living rent free in my house. So before any work, I wipe it all down: monitors, keyboard, the whole surface.
Here it is at 1.5x speed, with only the sound of the cleaning. We took the background music out and brought the wipes and sprays up, ASMR style. Headphones recommended.
Tonight's update
With the desk clean, here's the update I recorded right after, in my own words.
Gobi Da Nobi Season 2
Season 1 of Gobi Da Nobi was all shorts for YouTube. The goal was to get the basics working: lip sync, several characters talking with their own voices and facial features, and scenes that switch cleanly.
Season 2 is a big step up: a stylized, game-style 3D look, a lot better animation, new characters and better scripts behind it. Every character now speaks the dialogue in their own voice, rendered right into the shot with no separate lip-sync pass. And every character has a reference sheet, so they look the same from scene to scene.
Here's a first look at the Season 2 cast and a frame from the pilot.

Meet Luna Rey
Luna Rey is our new artist, and I'm really, really excited about her. Her first song, Dreams Come True, is going to be a hit. I know it.
Luna Rey is an AI singer. Her voice, her face and every scene in the video are AI-generated. Our team made the music video on Galatic.ai: 27 scenes, eight seconds each, directed from the lyrics. Performance where she sings, story where she doesn't.
The music video premieres on YouTube on Friday, October 2 at 9 AM Pacific. Set a reminder and watch it with us.

Also this week: the playroom build
Away from the desk, we're turning a walk-in closet into a Mission Control playroom, filmed as we go. The first three parts are out as Shorts this week, and the full write-up is on the blog.
Stay on the lookout for Luna Rey on Friday. Thank you, everybody.
